We hired Melanie and Michelle to sell our house very quickly. We found another house in the same neighborhood
and put an offer on it in late March 2008 before we had even thought about putting our house on the market.
Our closing date on the new house was May 30th so we had about 6 weeks to get our house ready to sell, secure
an offer and set a close date in order to sell our house about the same time we were buying the new house.
Melanie came to the house and immediately gave us great advice on how we needed to stage our house to highlight
the great features of the house and minimize some of the not so great features - small closet space, small 3rd
bathroom, etc. Michelle advised us to go ahead with an inspection and begin working on the items that we felt
would be of interest to any new buyer. We listened to both of them and had an offer within about 5% of our
asking price in 40 days. There were several challenges with the inspection and the other realtor for the house
we were buying --- Melanie and Michelle provided very professional and polite feedback to us and the other
realtor/seller but they were also very steadfast in representing our best interest and got several issues
resolved in our favor. We highly recommend Van Thompson as your realtor - they understand the demand of the
market and set up a great marketing strategy with glossy professional photos of our house staged in a way that
made it look better than it ever had before. Great team!

The Van Thompson Group was excellent to work with. They helped us purchase our first home in the location that
we wanted even though our budget was on the low end for that community. Their knowledge of the market and housing
in the area was superb. Our home inspection revealed some potential problems, but Michelle and Melanie took the
time to go back to the house with us and review each item in the report and gave us advice. Their many years of
real estate experience and home remodeling experience provided us a very good idea of what things would need
immediate attention and things we would need to be aware of in the future. They also provided us with a list
of good quality contractors that they had used personally on their own projects. We would definitely want
Michelle and Melanie help us again in the future when we are ready to sell our house and buy a new one!

Melanie and Michelle with the Van Thompson Team are experts at what they do! They first helped me purchase a
home in the Atlanta area back in 2005. Three years later, when ready to move closer in to the city limits, I
hired them again to help me sell the current home and purchase the next one. They did a wonderful job and guided

Melanie went above and beyond time and time again during the purchase of my condo. She was never pushy, and
always kept my best interests at heart. She is a true expert of Atlanta's condo market. Any weekend I wanted to
look at properties, she made herself available for me. She is also very personable and very easy to talk to. Even
after I closed on my condo, she followed up with me to see how I was liking my new condo. I would definitely
